So Tuxedo Mask is finally dead!Just kidding.
We all know that he's not. However, just like the act title says, the true princess is revealed. I have to say that there are so many things about this episode that I like.
I love the way they had Usagi regain her memories with the the backwards running of the broken clock. I also like how the relationship between Serenity and Endymion had a more mature air to it.
This episode was truly beautiful, visually, when it came to showing off the power of the silver crystal and the essence of the princess. I also have to give serious kudos to Usagi's voice actress in this episode. They did an awesome job pulling at the heartstrings. Usagi's grief and turmoil was definitely apparent. She really made you feel the agony of the moment.
So after the princess appears, a single tear transforms into the silver crystal. The light of the crystal enters Tuxedo Mask's body. That's when Beryl strikes! She appears and orders Kunzite to take the crystal, aka, the power that has entered Mamoru's body. The senshi are no slackers and do all they can to protect the princess. However, Mamoru is snatched up right from under their noses.
I have said this before, but I really do love and appreciate the upgraded fight sequences. This scene is no different. Each senshi holds her own, and even when it turns out to be too much for them to handle, they never give quarter, making Usagi their first priority.
So Beryl and Kunzite disappear with Mamoru in tow and the senshi return to their secret base with the princess. I love that Venus maintains composure as she trys to keep a handle on the situation. The other senshi learn of their past lives and Usagi starts phase one of her melancholy before passing out.
Back in the Dark Kingdom, Beryl is pissed because they aren't getting any readings of the crystals power from Mamoru's unconscious body. But that's not the interesting part.No. It's the fact that the generals voice their deja-vu over seeing Mamoru. The best was Kunzite's obvious distress over hearing Endymion's name. Oh boy!

We sit through some more Usagi melancholy as she whines about not knowing what to do. Luckily, it's short.
Like I said. This episode is gorgeous! Even with the melancholy. I loved every second of it. No
complaints.
